Spider 2 Suits is the best bridge between easy 1 Suit and the full 4 Suit challenge. You still get enough matching cards to build clean runs, but every mixed stack asks a real planning question.
Protect clean suit lanes
A clean same-suit run is more valuable than a legal mixed run because it can move as one unit later. When two moves look equal, prefer the one that preserves a clean lane or extends a same-suit sequence.
Treat empty columns as a resource
Empty columns let you rotate stacks, move Kings out of the way, and rebuild mixed sequences into clean ones. Avoid filling an empty column with a short card unless it flips something important immediately.
Before you deal a new row
- Check whether any face-down card can be uncovered first.
- Move clean same-suit runs together before mixing suits.
- Keep at least one empty column if it is helping you reorder stacks.
- Use undo after a stock deal to compare which new card should anchor the next run.
