Privacy policy
SolitaireHot is designed for casual play without an account. This policy explains what information is stored and why.

Summary
We do not require registration to play. Most data — settings, bookmarks, stats, and daily win history — stays in your browser unless you choose a future account feature. When you win a game, we may also store anonymous progress on our servers to support stats across sessions on the same browser.
Information stored on your device
- Game settings — animations, sound, card back, language, and handedness preferences.
- Stats & achievements — wins, best time, best moves, best score, streaks, and daily win calendar entries.
- Bookmarks & profile name — optional local display name and favourite games.
- UI preferences — for example whether the daily challenge sidebar panel is expanded.
You can clear this data anytime through your browser settings (localStorage). Clearing storage resets stats and preferences on that device.
Cookies & server storage
SolitaireHot uses first-party cookies to keep gameplay working across visits. We do not use third-party advertising cookies today. When you sign in (a planned feature), additional session cookies may be required — this section will be updated before launch.

You can delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Clearing cookies may reset anonymous stats tied to sh_pid on our servers.
Accounts & sign-in (planned)
SolitaireHot does not require an account today. We plan to add optional sign-in so you can sync stats across devices. When that launches:
- You may sign in with email or a supported provider — only the data needed to run your account will be collected.
- Profile details (display name, email) will be stored on our servers and covered by this policy.
- You will be able to delete your account and request export of your data before or after launch — contact us via Feedback.
Information we do not collect by default
- Real name, postal address, or phone number
- Payment information — the games are free
- Precise location
- Contacts or files on your device
Analytics & advertising
SolitaireHot may use analytics or advertising partners in the future to understand traffic and support hosting costs. If that happens, this page will list the providers, what they collect, and how to opt out where available. Ad slots on the site are currently placeholders.
Children's privacy
SolitaireHot is a general-audience card game site. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal data, please contact us through the Feedback page.

- Clear browser storage to remove local stats and settings
- Use private browsing if you do not want data persisted
- Send a privacy question via Feedback
- Decline optional cookies via the consent banner ("Essential only")
