Terms of use

1. The service

SolitaireHot provides free online solitaire and related patience games through a web browser. Features may include hints, undo, daily seeded deals, local stats, leaderboards, and optional advertising. We may add, change, or remove games and features over time.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Interfere with the site, servers, or other players (including automated scraping or denial-of-service attempts)
• Reverse engineer or redistribute the game software except where allowed by law
• Misrepresent scores or exploit bugs to disrupt leaderboards or stats
• Use the site for any unlawful purpose

3. Accounts & stats

An account is not required today. Stats, streaks, and settings may be stored locally on your device and, for anonymous players, on our servers via a browser cookie. We do not guarantee permanent retention — data may be lost if you clear browser storage, use a new device, or if we reset game logic during updates.

4. Accounts & sign-in (planned)

Optional account sign-in is planned for a future release. When available, you agree to provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.

• We may suspend accounts that abuse leaderboards, automate play, or violate these terms.
• Deleting your account will remove server-side profile data subject to reasonable backup retention.
• Until sign-in launches, all play remains anonymous or local as described in our Privacy policy.

5. Cookies

SolitaireHot uses cookies as described in our Privacy policy, including sh_pid for anonymous stats today and planned session cookies after login launches. Continued use means you accept essential cookies required to run the service.

6. Intellectual property

SolitaireHot's name, logo, interface, and original code are protected. Classic card game rules are in the public domain; our implementation, artwork, and branding are not. Card images and layouts used on the site are licensed for use on SolitaireHot.

7. Disclaimer

SolitaireHot is provided "as is" for entertainment. We do not promise uninterrupted access, error-free play, or that every deal is winnable. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

8. Limitation of liability

SolitaireHot and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site. Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim — which is zero for free play.

9. Third-party links

The site may link to external pages or show third-party ads. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

10. Changes

We may revise these terms. Continued use after the "Last updated" date means you accept the revised terms. Material changes may be noted on the site.
