Start with these popular variants
Klondike on SolitaireHot: Turn 1 and Turn 3
Klondike uses seven tableau columns, a stock pile, and four foundations. You build tableau stacks downward in alternating colors; foundations run upward by suit from Ace to King. SolitaireHot hosts two draw modes: Turn 1 reveals one stock card at a time (easier, great for learning), while Turn 3 reveals three at once (classic difficulty). Switch between them from the Klondike links in the header or the All Games grid.
Turn 1 — learn the flow
At /klondike/turn-1 you see one new stock card per draw. Fewer buried cards means more wins while you practice exposing face-down tableau cards and moving Kings to empty columns. Use Hint to see a legal move; Undo rewinds if you want to test another line.
Turn 3 — classic challenge
At /klondike/turn-3 only the top card of each three-card stock packet is playable. Wins take more planning, but the rhythm matches decades of desktop solitaire. Double-click (or double-tap on mobile) auto-sends a card to a foundation when allowed.
