Seventeen variants can feel like too many tabs. This starter path keeps SolitaireHot simple: begin with easy boards, learn Hint and Undo, then branch into planning, matching, or two-deck games when you are ready.

You do not need to try every game on day one.

Day one: Turn 1 and Spider 1 Suit

Play Klondike Turn 1 to learn foundations and alternating colors. Then try Spider 1 Suit to practice long runs without multi-suit chaos. Both are free, with no download.

Week one: add one new family

If you like open information, add FreeCell, then try Baker’s Game when same-suit planning sounds fun. If you prefer short sessions, add Pyramid or Golf. Save Crescent for later when two-deck suit sorting sounds appealing.

Starter checklist

  • Finish one Turn 1 deal using Hint at most once.
  • Try a Spider 1 Suit deal focused on empty columns.
  • Open Daily once you know which variant you enjoy.
  • Skim Rules or a blog guide when a mechanic confuses you.

Start with easy Klondike

Play Turn 1 now, then browse all games when you want variety.
